Important Notes
Your safety is always our highest priority, therefore each of our tours begins with a 30-minute orientation session. We will practice on the Segways until everyone feels comfortable and is ready to conquer DC. The Segway is appropriate for virtually anyone 16 and older that weighs 100 pounds or more. Anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to ride. Unfortunately, pregnant women will not be permitted to participate. Got questions? Email us at DC@CitySegwayTours.com.
Parking
For both the Day and Night tours, the Metro or a taxi will be your best option. If parking is imperative, seek out a parking garage as opposed to street parking. Most street parking is good for only one or two hours. If you want to use a parking garage in this area, they typically charge around $7-$9.
Please keep in mind that many parking garages change their hours of operation on a day-to-day basis, based on special events. In addition, due to federal security restrictions, street closures are very common in the Central Business District. If you plan on driving to our office, please account for a little extra time to find parking.
Public Transportation
Metro
Take the Red/Yellow/Green lines to the Gallery Place-Chinatown METRO station. When you get off the train, look for the brown signs that point you to the 9th and G Street Exit. Once you get to street level, we are right across the street.

Our office is conveniently located off the Circulator’s Red Line.

Best thing we did in DC!
We took a tour with John over at Capital City Bike Tours and it was the best thing we did in DC! We had heard great things about the Segway Tour but when we got to the office we learned that they offered bike tours as well and decided to try that. John was not only professional, he was hilarious and very knowledgeable. On top of that their beach cruiser style bikes were super comfortable. I would recommend this tour to anyone or any family looking to see a lot in a short time in DC!
